Tennipro
For Court Operators
Beta

Court holds, in one place.

When a school holds one of your courts, your team is notified. Confirm or release holds from the admin screen. Holds nobody uses are released automatically at the deadline, and your team is told when that happens.

Confirm or release the courts a school has held

Confirm the slots you will use and release the ones you will not. Both are done from the screen your team uses.

  • Upcoming holds are listed by time. You see the court name, the time, the number of courts and the status.
  • Each confirm or release sends the school a notice.
  • A held slot that is not used by its deadline is released automatically. Your team is notified when that happens.
  • The same court cannot be held twice for the same time.

Register your venues and courts yourself

Record each court’s name, address, and whether it is indoor or outdoor. You can change them later.

  • Add courts to each venue.
  • Courts you manage in your own booking system or spreadsheet can be registered too. Schools see them as courts.
  • While a hold is in force, you cannot change how a court is managed (on Tennipro or on your own system).

Court fees Tennipro bears, and a monthly statement

A list of the court fees Tennipro bears after a cancellation, and one statement per month.

  • Each status (unsettled, settled, waived) shows a count and a total. Only fees that have been checked are listed.
  • The statement shows, for each site, how many holds are still held, cancelled, or released after the deadline, and the month’s total. A slot released after its deadline is recorded in it.
  • Download the statement as CSV. Settlement happens outside the app. Nothing is transferred to you from the app.

Import courts and busy times by CSV or iCal (beta)

Bring your court list and the times they are unavailable in from your existing schedule. The Tennipro team turns this on for each operator.

  • Check a CSV before it is imported. Nothing is saved at the check.
  • For courts you manage elsewhere, an iCal link (your calendar feed) brings in the times they are busy.

Decide what each person on your team can see and do

See the schedule and holds, confirm and release, or see fees. You can set these separately for each person on your team.

  • Give someone a view of the schedule only, or let them confirm and release as well.
  • Access to fees is given only to the people who need it.
  • The Tennipro team sets these permissions.

Getting started takes three steps

  1. 1Talk to the Tennipro team
  2. 2Register your venues and courts, and set up your team
  3. 3Confirm holds when a school books
The details: what you see, what you do not, how to start

What you see, and what you do not

  • Your own venues and courts, upcoming holds (time, number of courts, status), monthly statements, and the court fees Tennipro bears.
  • For a member, only the first name is shown.
  • A school’s own cost, its notes, the staff member who booked, and the coach who caused a fee are not shown.
  • Courts and holds of other companies are not shown.

From the school’s side

  • Schools can see a court’s name and address. A school picks a court from the list and holds a slot on it.

Settlement and records

  • Settlement is done outside the app. Tennipro records how and with what reference.
  • A fee that is waived is kept in the list, with the reason.

How to start

  • To start, talk to the Tennipro team first.
  • The Tennipro team sets up accounts for your team.
  • The admin screen is in beta. It is open to venues in Japan for now.

What is not there yet

We want you to know this before you start. Tennipro does not do the following yet.

  • Two-way automatic sync with your booking system or calendar (import is by CSV and iCal)
  • Payments to venues from the app. Settlement happens outside the app
  • Adding team members or changing their access yourself (the Tennipro team does this)
  • Signing a venue up from the app or the web
