Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Service description

Tennipro (the "Service") is a marketplace connecting tennis coaches ("Coaches") and players ("Players"). Coaches are independent operators and are not employees of Craft Value Inc. (the "Company").

2. Account registration

Users must provide accurate information when using the Service. Transferring or lending accounts is prohibited. Use of the Service requires you to be at least 18, or to have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if under 18.

3. From booking to charge

A lesson goes through these steps in order.

  • The Player sends a request with a time and place, and Coaches who fit send offers.
  • When the Player accepts an offer, the booking is made. After accepting, the Player saves a payment card in the app. The card is not charged at this point.
  • After the lesson, when the Coach records it as done, the saved card is charged. If no one records it, the lesson is marked done automatically six hours after it ends, and the card is charged then.
  • Coaches and schools are paid after the charge, in a weekly payout on Mondays (Section 5).

4. Prices and cancellation

The price of a lesson is set by the Coach or the school, and differs between them. An offer is valid until the earlier of 24 hours after it is sent and the start of the first time offered.

If the card cannot be charged, we tell you in the app. Please enter a payment method again. We may try the charge again after some days.

Cancellation and charges work as follows.

  • How many hours before the lesson you can still cancel for free (the cancellation deadline) is set for each booking. For a school booking it is the time the school sets, and if none is set it is 24 hours. The deadline is fixed when you book and does not change afterwards. The cancellation confirmation screen shows the deadline for that booking.
  • If the Player cancels before the deadline, the Player is not charged.
  • If the Player cancels after the deadline, the full lesson price is charged to the saved card.
  • If the Coach or the school cancels, the Player pays nothing for the lesson.
  • If a court booking carries a cancellation fee and that fee is to be borne by the Player, it may be charged separately from the lesson price.

5. How payments and payouts work

Lesson payments are collected, and Coaches and schools are paid, as follows.

  • Collection: The Company collects the lesson price from the credit card the Player has saved, through our payment processor Stripe. We do not keep card numbers.
  • Payout: The Company pays each Coach and school their share (the price less the fee in Section 6) through Stripe, in one batch every Monday at 12:00 (Japan time). Every share on record at that time is included. When the money reaches a bank account depends on Stripe's settings.
  • Rollover: If a week's total is under the minimum (currently ¥1,000), if the payee has not finished setting up to receive money with Stripe, or if refund deductions leave the total below zero, nothing is paid that week and the amount rolls over to later weeks. Rolled-over amounts are paid together in the first week they can be paid.
  • Refunds: Refunds are issued by our administrators. Whether to refund, and how much (all or part), is decided case by case by our team after reviewing what you tell us. A refund goes back to the card that was charged. A cancellation before any charge is not a refund: the charge is simply not made.
  • Effect of a refund on payouts: The share for a refunded lesson is cancelled if it has not been paid yet. If it has already been paid, it is deducted from later payouts.
  • Disputes: When a card payment is disputed through the card company (a chargeback), we are notified and a record is kept. Our team reviews it case by case. That notice alone does not automatically change a Coach's or school's share.

6. Platform fees

We deduct a platform fee from Coaches' and schools' shares. The rate is set according to our arrangement with each Coach or school. What the Player pays is the lesson price; the fee is not added on top.

7. Prohibited conduct

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Illegal acts or acts contrary to public order
  • Harassment or defamation of other users
  • Registering false information
  • Repeatedly canceling bookings without legitimate cause
  • Encouraging direct transactions between Coaches and Players outside the Service
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service

8. Disclaimers

Coaches are responsible for the content of their instruction and for safety during lessons. Players participate at their own risk. The Company provides the matching service only and is not liable for incidents during lessons.

9. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service belong to the Company or its licensors. Users grant the Company a license to use submitted content as needed to operate the Service.

10. Service changes

The Company may modify or discontinue the Service without prior notice to users.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute arising in connection with the Service.
